About Our Community
A waterfront neighborhood on Powhatan Creek — 50 years of canal living, right in Virginia’s Historic Triangle.
Life on the water.
Powhatan Shores is a waterfront neighborhood located along the canals of Powhatan Creek in the Williamsburg, Virginia area — one of the area’s best-kept secrets. With direct water access to Powhatan Creek and the James River, we enjoy a lifestyle that’s increasingly rare.
The Powhatan Shores Homeowners Association, Inc. is a voluntary association dedicated to maintaining the character of our neighborhood, preserving water access, and fostering the close-knit community that makes Powhatan Shores special. Everything here — from the boat ramp and park to community events and seasonal decorations — is the result of neighbors helping neighbors.
