Where water, history, and home meet.
Powhatan Shores is a voluntary association of about 110 households built around a water-access lifestyle that’s increasingly rare. Right from the neighborhood, the creek is yours for kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing — and the canal system carries you straight out to the James River for powerboating, fishing, and waterfront restaurants up and down the water.
And it’s all in the heart of Virginia’s Historic Triangle. Colonial Williamsburg, the Colonial Parkway, Historic Jamestowne, and William & Mary are minutes away by car or bike. Few places let you spend the morning on the river and the afternoon walking 400 years of history.
Make the most of the Historic Triangle.
Local marinas and ramps, waterfront dining, area attractions, county news, and neighbor photos — all in one place.
Shared spaces, right outside your door.
From the boat ramp and park to community events, neighborhood projects, and seasonal decorations — it’s all the result of neighbors helping neighbors, supported by your homeowners association board.
